More about Jack

Jack is a 4 year old Border Collie with a lovely, friendly nature. He has only just come into the kennels and is settling in nicely. Jack walks well on his harness and is very friendly towards the other dogs he meets out and about on his walks. He really enjoys his time in our secure garden and loves a fuss almost as much as he loves chasing around after the toys.
Jack is an intelligent and energetic breed and will therefore need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep him happy. He will want two good walks a day, plus a nice sized secure garden for fun and games. Collies enjoy activities that allow them to express their natural instincts, so agility games, obedience training, and hide and seek with a favourite toy are all good games to play with Jack to keep him happy. Jack will want human company throughout the majority of the day, but could be left for up to 4 hours without any issues.
Jack has lived with a cat in the past, but had a very playful relationship with that cat and would probably expect that in the future. He could possibly live with a cat again, as long as it was a very confident, dog experienced cat who could stand up to him!
Jack is likely to be very popular as Border Collies always are. If you like the look of Jack please don’t delay in applying for him.
