The West Norfolk RSPCA is an independent Branch of the RSPCA, with its Rehoming Centre being at Eau Brink, on the outskirts of King's Lynn in Norfolk. The Branch, also known as RSPCA Norfolk West, has been running for 30+ years and is incredibly successful, rehoming on average 30 dogs a month and 15-20 cats. We also rehome small animals and, although on a much smaller scale, they are no less important to us. Our aim is to make every animal's stay with us as stress-free as possible and merely a stepping stone to a new and better life.
Here's our banner dog Pippa, looking very different. She didn't wait very long in our kennels before we found her a fantastic new home. Doesn't she look the picture of happiness!
All funds are raised locally and, apart from the kennel ladies, there are no paid staff, it is run entirely by volunteers.
Any dog having served its 7 days in the local pound is brought to the kennels to be rehomed. Dogs also come in via hand-in's from the general public, for whatever reason they are unable to keep and care for them, and from the local RSPCA inspectors.
Our dogs are always neutered or spayed (where medically possibly), vaccinated, microchipped and receive any veterinary treatment necessary . Rescue back-up is of course guaranteed by the branch for the rest of the animal's life.
Our dogs can be rehomed outside of the county, within reason, and we can arrange homechecks in most areas of England. (Homechecks are always carried out.)
Please note that we do not rehome as far away as northern England, Wales or Scotland.
Please take a look at our lovely animals, we sincerely hope your new best friend is amongst them . Thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to hearing from you.
