Charlie
Charlie came into our care in April 2010, a very thin and scared little boy. We all absolutely loved him of course and were thrilled when Lucy, Saul and their 2 lovely boys, came along from Bedfordshire and wanted to adopt him. After a very good first meeting, where Charlie immediately seemed to come completely out of his shell and gelled straight away with Lucy and family, he went off to live in Bedfordshire and is now completely and utterly adored by them all.
This is what they have to say about him....
"Charlie came to live with us almost a year and a half ago. He came to us with a whole host of anxiety issues and it took a long time for him to truly settle. We still need to replace our kitchen door, dining room suite and sofa cushions which he managed to destroy! We have finally got rid of the smell of wee too!
I honestly believe a dog could not be more loved though! He is a typical cheeky lurcher and loves playing with the boys and chasing the cat! He has a lovely relationship with the cat and they can often be found sleeping on the sofa together!
He enjoys his daily walks and has regular company of a friends German Sheppard and my parents Border Collies.
Thank you so much for our Charlie, we couldn't imagine a life without him. He has also inspired me to volunteer at a local dog rescue centre!
Keep up all your good work,
Best wishes,
Lucy and Saul"
Thank you so so much to you all, Charlie is one very lucky boy xx
