Ellie & her 3 kittens
The very lovely Ellie and her 5 kittens came into our care in July 2011, having been shut in a cupboard in an empty building and basically left to die. It was one of the most dispicable cases I had heard of. Just when Ellie most needed somewhere safe and comfortable to care for her kittens, she (and they) was subjected to that.
Two of Ellie's kittens were rehomed, then along came Steph and Bruno and they adopted Ellie and her 3 remaining kittens. It is fantastic that this little family were able to stay together, just wonderful in fact and everyone at the Centre was so thrilled for them all.
Ellie and her kittens are all settling in very well and having a smashing time playing with each other and living care-free lives. Ellie is still being a fab Mum to her babies and they all look like they are loving their new home. Thanks so much to Steph and Bruno for giving them all a loving, forever home together xx
Here are some lovely pics of them all, with updates from Steph....
Ellie has settled in fine and is looking after all the kittens really well still. She knows exactly when anyone is in the kitchen! She's taking a bit of interest in the garden (mainly by lurking about on the doormat), so I think she'll enjoy it once we let her out there......

What a beautiful photo........

Charlie is starting to look a bit rounder than the others, and can fall asleep anywhere! Everyone who has visited the house has admired her eyebrows.....

Dregs (mostly black) likes to climb up your trousers (outside only!) when you're preparing their dinner. Also attempts to climb up your bare legs if you're wearing shorts! If you don't let her do this, then Mum's tail ends up as the target!

Martha (black and white) barely ever sleeps, and looks like she will be trouble! Her favourite toys are bits of plastic or receipts - she likes to hide them in Bruno's shoes - so I think he's dreading when she starts hunting in the field out the back!

Three sleeping beauties!
