Velvet
Velvet, the Cocker Spaniel, came into our care in September 2011 and we all fell in love with her as she is so adorable. Someone, somewhere had cruelly abandoned her and we set about finding her a new, loving home. She was very popular of course, but one offer of a home stood out from the others and very shortly Velvet was off with Derek and Janet to Suffolk. (Many thanks to Kate Grimwood, from the RSPCA Suffolk East & Ipswich Branch, as ever, for organising their homecheck).
Velvet then became Meg and has settled in very quickly. She is loved more than she could ever have wished for and is now having a fantastic life where every day is made special for her. Thanks must also go to Derek and Janet's daughter, Joanna, for acting as the go-between for myself and her parents and for making it all possible for Meg. Thank you so, so much to you all xx
