Wispa
Wispa came to us at the end of July via another rescue centre, in urgent need of a rescue space as they could not take him in. Despite being full ourselves we squeezed him in.
He was only a 6 month old baby (albeit a big baby) and was very unhappy in kennels. The weight dropped off him as he became more and more distressed. It was very hard to see him week after week looking so upset, bless him.
After 2 months of waiting, a very special man called Brian got in touch with me. He was miles away, in South Yorkshire, but he had seen Wispa on the internet and had set his heart on him. After a homecheck Brian came down to Norfolk with his lovely laid back female Akita, Tia, and things went OK with the 2 dogs. Wispa went back up to South Yorkshire with them and became Ozzy.
Ozzy was never going to be an easy dog, but this didn't deter Brian and his family, and Ozzy has come on leaps and bounds since becoming a Yorkshire lad. He was none to keen on other dogs for starters, but they have worked on this and I think you'll see from the pics below that he and Tia are fast becoming best friends. Ozzy is definitely 'work in progress', but he has found his forever home with Brian and his family and we can't thank them enough for giving Ozzy the chance he so desperately needed.
Brian keeps in touch with hilarious updates about Ozzy's antics and and I hope to one day he may write a book about him LOL! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO YOU ALL BRIAN xx

Isn't this just a fantastic picture, how sweet do they look!
