Mr Fuggle (now Dexter) came to us earlier this year and here is his previous thread....

Lisa, his new big sister, sent me this email at the end of the summer (sorry for the huge delay in getting this on the net Lisa and famly) and also the fantastic pics below. I'll let Lisa tell you the story LOL!
"The boat trip went really well in the end with us all having a great time, but the first 24 hours were quite dramatic – Dexter got very nervous on the long journey down smelling the familiar Norfolk air and wasn’t impressed at the boat one bit, he refused to get on, wouldn’t walk on the fibre glass well or steps and was generally scared to death, shivering and shaking and after a lot of pushing, picking up and coaxing he turned into Captain Pugwash !!!! He was up fishing with his dad, jumping off the boat as soon as we moored then went on a mammoth expedition of his new surroundings – He loved it so much so he refused to get off the boat at the end of the week and sulked for two days once we got home!
He came back from another weeks hols (at the caravan) yesterday and is still sulking now, won’t play with his toys, takes ages to eat his food, and looks plain annoyed at being home – I think he enjoys being with his mom & dad 24/7 and lounging in the sun up on the patio too much LOL.
As he’s settling in and relaxing he’s turning into a cheeky little monster. Last week everytime his dad put anything down Dexter picked it up and ran off with it, with his dad in hot pursuit LOL – items included strimmer, piece of wood, extension lead, crabbing bucket and a small bag of compost. He’s taken to digging under the van in the dry loose soil, and when you ask him what he’s doing he playfully pounces at the ground then races round and round the caravan at full pelt LOL
Mom and Dad had an old friend to vist the caravan last week who is quite nervous of dogs even a Chihuahua petrifies him, and had being told by another joint friend to watch the very big dog as it may eat him LOL needless to say Dexi behaved perfectly and even converted the friend to liking him.
The pics go from a very scared Dexi needing to be cuddled on blankets so the horrible fibre glass didn’t touch him, to fishing with his dad, wearing his captains hat and just enjoying one of his many walks around St Benedicts ruin (proper little chunk isn’t he ??)
Our home wouldn’t be the same without the little monster, he’s currently dragging his bed around the kitchen LOL. Pepsi & Max, our cats, like their new play mate too, especially when they both nick his bed!"

One of my fave pics of 2011!

What a wonderful life he is having, THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN TO YOU ALL XXX
