This was poor Hattie when she came in to us as a pup, around 6 months old.  Scared, starved and covered in mange. How could someone have been so wicked to her.

BUT, as you can see below, Portia is unrecognisable now!  She was taken on by Anna and family very soon after the above picture was taken (last year).  She now lives on the Norfolk coast with her best friend, another rescued dog, called Sasha, they make a very striking pair of beauties; the picture of health, both wonderfully happy and both clearly adoring of Anna.  The feeling is very much mutual and they are Anna's absolute pride and joy. 

Here they both are after a very enjoyable woodland walk.....
