NAME:  Spider
 
AGE:  3 years
 
BREED:  Lurcher
 
REASON FOR RESCUE:  Abandoned
 
TEMPERAMENT:  Poor Spider is very quiet, and appears quite shell-shocked by what is happening to him.  As you can see from the photographs he is extremely thin and has obviously not been cared for properly in the past.  It's really very upsetting to see him in real life. 
 
He is calm and steady, but is quite an escape artist so this is something which will need to be considered in his new home.  Any fencing will need to be at least 6ft high and you would need to be with him any time he went into the garden.  Of course his want to escape may well diminish over time, once he gets to know and trust you and he realises that he does not have to fend for himself.
 
CAN I LIVE WITH OTHER DOGS:  Possibly.
 
CAN I LIVE WITH CHILDREN:  Any children will need to be 10+ as we have no background history on Spider
 
CAN I LIVE WITH CATS:  Possibly,
