Dash: Hayley
A big thankyou to you all for your hard work and dedication. Dash came to his forever home with us this week. He is an absolute joy, loving, loyal and so well behaved. We didnt hear him bark for the first day, he did nothing but sleep, but now we know he has settled in as he wants to play with his "baby" a soft toy bought just for him. All Dash wanted was to be loved and cared for, he is by my side contantly and loves his walks with his new Daddy and buddy Charlie. He has made our house a home again, as it has been a number of years since we lost our beautiful Rosie, Dash is now Top Dog!!! Thank you xx

Laura: Please consider Staffordshire Bull Terri...
Just a quick Hi and Plea to get people to please consider re-homing a beautfiul and amazing stafford. One of the most amazing dog breeds. Do not be put off by them, its such a shame they have bad names because they far from deserve it! Nothing but Loyalty, Love and Affection. We re-homed Truffle from here in November and she's a credit to us so loving.
I always feel sad when I check this website regularly, I like to see who's been re-homed etc
and see SO many staffies on here, and noticed some of them have been on here for awhile now, please people give them a chance because you WONT regret it!!!
Hope everyone is well, Truffle is still doing great feels like she's always been here.

Hi, I recently adopted Hobbs (now known as Monty) a 10week old black lab little boy, he looked so sweet when i arrived to see him and just wanted to be fussed. He now lives with his older brother bosley (17 month old choc lab) and they love to play, especially hide and seek, and love to cuddle up together laying side by side snoozing. They have long walks together and poor Monty tries desperately to keep up with his brother but his little legs aren't quite there yet. They have taken to each other like they have always been together. God willing a long and happy life for both my precious boys.

Bernie and Denise Hendry: Foxy re-named Roxy
Hi every-one,
Roxy has settled in nicely, She loves her walks, is very playful and happily settles down for the night. She loves to snooze in front of the fire. We couldn't have asked for a more loving little dog. She will want for nothing.

Karen: re: Juliet
I just had to write to say how happy we are to read the wonderful 'happy ending' story for dear little Juliet. We saw her when we came to adopt our beautiful staffie, Suzy. Juliet was so appealing and we thought about her often, regularly checking to see if she had been re-homed. Now she finally has and she looks so happy and content with her lovely new owners. What a heartwarming story and great pictures. It made our day and I'm sure we're not alone. Best wishes - Karen & Baz

Sonia: Ash
Hi Jo,
Ash has turned into a big softy! He absolutely loves tummy rubs and would have them all day if he could! He is still not sure about going outside, actually he only makes it to the step has a quick sniff and then comes back in doors - bless him, he is so brave. I am sure with a little more encouragement he will eventually pluck up the courage. He has the brightest eyes now and the fluffiest tail and is very relaxed, he has totally transformed. Its been nine months since he came home with us but all our patience has paid off.
It would be great if we could hear if his brothers and sisters have settled down just as well.

Hi Penny, Jo and team
It is so nice to read the Happy ending tales and see the photos of the animals in their new homes.
Well a week on from adopting Dilly, the rabbit (nicked named as Princess Dilly) and we thought we would let you know how she is doing. It was a tough few days to start with as Dilly refused to eat and drink, but gently coaxed by some tasty carrots she has started to eat and has settled in well. She has made friends with our other 2 rabbits and has started to play and join in their games, She loves to be in the run in the sunshine and its great to hear them chippering to each other. They all wash each other before bedtime then all snuggle down together-its very cute! Another happing ending!
Her eye is getting much better and looks clean and bright.
Have sent some photo's to Jo for you to see and as she settles in more we will send you some more.

Hi Jo, Penny and everyone at West Norfolk Centre. It's exactly two weeks since we brought Suzy, our beautiful white staffie home. She settled in almost immediately and is an absolute joy to be with... gentle, affectionate, playful and so well-mannered. She's everything we could ever wish for in a canine companion. We are very lucky! Will send photos soon. Thanks to you all.

Hi to Jo, Penny and all the other staff at the centre,We adopted Jasmine (border collie now called Jazz) a month ago and thought I would report back on progress. She is a really lovely dog and has settled in well to our household. She is so friendly, calm and loves her cuddles and she is a great character. All border collies have their special obsessions and Jazz loves trees - she dances around them on her hind legs gazing up into the branches. This makes us laugh and is a very fitting obsession since my son is a Tree Surgeon!! It also means she gets plenty of excercise on her daily woodland walks since there are plenty of trees for her to dance around. I also have another border collie (Billy) and they get on really well - in fact she has been a good influence on him and he has calmed down considerably since we have had Jazz. They love their walks together and have a bit of rough and tumble in the garden in the afternoons, after which they curl up for a siesta. Jazz is also very helpful in the kitchen -she guards my shopping from Billy until I have got it all stored away - given half a chance Bill would be in there stealing food out of the bags while my back is turned!! The whole family love Jazz and she certainly seems to love being with us. It is such a pleasure to give a rescue dog a good home - everyone thinking of getting a dog should certainly look at these dogs first! We have some pictures of Jazz and Bill - just waiting for my hubby to upload them onto the site. Thanks for introducing us to Jazz.

Jenny from Perth Australi...: mrs
Hi Jo and everyone at the Centre. Meeting the dogs and volunteer walking while on holiday in the UK was a highlight of our time in Norfolk. Doug and I are looking forward to seeing you all again next year and of course the new buildings. We click on to the web each day to see who is new and who has found a home. Can't understand why the adorable, luscious Lucy is still with you what a joy that little dog is. Jo is there any news of a possible home for her? Our fingers are still crossed for that special person for Florence too, she realy is a big cuddly softie.
Best wishes to you all Jenny and Doug Pitney

Hi Jo and everyone,
We rehomed Luke our lovely Whippet at the end of August..He has settled in amazingly well and loves life with us. He is extremely spoilt and pampered. He loves his walks three times a day visiting the beach and neraby park. Luke has two new step cousins Sam and Charlie and he visits them once a week for a romp in the garden. Luke is very friendly with everyone he meets and particularly loves his Mum. He is fantastic with other dogs and children...He is a pleasure to have around......Keep up the good work ladies and thanks very much once again..

Sabine: Pip the little old JR
Hi Jo and all at the RSPCA rehoming centre
We think we are the luckiest people in the world as we adopted Pip, a 11 year old JR female just about 3 weeks ago. She was looking quite a bit older to be honest, probably due to the shock of having been put into kennels and not being with her original family any longer. she looked such a forelorn and pitiful little dog when wee arrive - I spotted her straight away at the centre and decided to adopt her. We were looking for a mature companion for our other JR who lost his female friend in May this year.
I cannot praise older dogs enough. I prefer them to puppies. for a start most are already house trained. And I never encountered one that was nasty or vicious - either they all love us (and we love them) or we have the "we are for old dogs vibes" and they just behave.
Pip is such a sweetie. She settled in within 4 hours being with us and was allowed to share Nelson's bed. He adores her and doesn't even growl when she eats from his bowl - amazing!
I would always recommend adopting an older dog. It's is much more difficult for them to find new owners as everyone wants a puppy, but you couldn't do a better deed than give an old dog a warm and cosy home where they can spend the rest of their lives in peace and comfort. They will repay yo with unconditional love and loyalty.

Mark Cussen: Nadia now Be...: Bella (Nadia) the Greyhound....
Hi to everyone at West Norfolk RSPCA and Jo.
A week into Bella the Greyhounds new life, and she is a pleasure to be with.
A Greyhound beauty with such a gentle nature. It was worth the long drive to see her and take her home. My wife fell in love with her within 20 seconds and did not want her put back in the kennel.
A big thank you to Jo who was such a help in the phone and email when we first contacted the centre. A down to earth, and sensible approach to getting things done, and giving great advice.
I am sure that she is the most pampered Greyhound ever - but somehow I am sure all Greyhound owners feel the same with their hounds!
Once again thank you West Norfolk RSPCA.
Kind regards
Mark & Nikki x
