More about Cecil

We are urgently looking for a forever home for Cecil. This home should be cat free, preferably in a rural location, with confident, experienced people who can devote time and patience to helping him settle into a home environment.

Update 20th January – new pictures added of Cecil on a day out with two of our dog walkers and their Staffie Angela, enjoying a walk at the beach.

Cecil is a lovely, friendly and playful dog who through no fault of his own has spent the last 15 months in kennels. In this time Cecil has become a firm favourite with staff and volunteers alike, although we all think the world of him we would love  nothing more than to see him in his own forever home. Cecil is an obedient dog and is very food motivated, he is a fast learner and is always happy to pick up something new, he would benefit from owners who will be willing to continue with training and mental stimulation games. Cecil walks well on his harness and enjoys sharing walks with calm, friendly dogs .

Due to the length of time Cecil has been in kennels, a potential adopter will be required to make several visits to build a bond with him prior to rehoming.

Cecil is neutered, microchipped and fully up to date with his vaccinations.
