West Norfolk RSPCA Sponsored Dog Walk

West Norfolk RSPCA Sponsored Dog Walk
25th June 2023
We are pleased to announce our Annual sponsored dog walk is back at Sandringham for 2023. We would like to thank Kings Charles and the Sandringham Estate staff for making this possible.
This a great opportunity for us to meet up with old friends and see how you’re all doing, along with meeting up with some new friends.. while at the same time raise some much needed funds to support our work.
If you’ve never been before Sandringham it is a wonderful setting in over 600 acres and you can easily see why so many members of the Royal Family have loved it, going way back to 1862! It was always Queen Elizabeth II favourite place to spend Christmas.
In the visitor centre you will find the gift shop and the café – with some amazing food! There is also a fantastic children’s Woodland Play area – if the children have any energy left to burn off before you leave!
It starts at 10am. There are two walks through the woods the Blue route is 1 mile and the Yellow route is 2 miles.
Please be aware there may be some low hanging branches and also exposed tree roots which can be a trip hazard. We would recommend sturdy footwear.
The routes are not suitable for wheelchairs, they are suitable for rugged terrain style child buggies.
A full risk assessment of the walk has been carried out and the Estate carries out regular full risk assessments of the Park; should you require a copy please contact us.
We will also have one of our regular vets from The Grove Veterinary Practice with us, in case of any mishaps or just if you have any questions feel free to ask.
You can find out much more about Sandringham by visiting https://sandringhamestate.co.uk/
All participants will receive a goodie bag – one per group.
